Every stunning piece of Nordic/Scandinavian-inspired furniture and homeware is ethically manufactured at several production facilities in Vietnam, where more than 500 skilled employees are responsible for every stage of production.

From planning and production through to product labelling and shipping, it is the facility in Vietnam that brings Nordik Living's beautiful Scandinavian designs to life with furniture that is both affordable and of exquisite quality.

Environmentally sustainable

Furniture is one of Vietnam's key exports, and the country is committed to ensuring the legality, sustainability and transparency of operations whilst ensuring that the economic, social and environmental impacts are carefully monitored.

At the facility, steel, solid wood and upholstered components are all produced in-house, while sub-suppliers are rigoriously audited to ensure compliance with ethical and quality standards. Only environmentally-friendly raw and finished products are used, and products are third-party tested in line with safety, conformity and market regulations.

All Nordik Living products are compliant with REACH, a recognised standard governing the impacts of chemical use on both human health and the wider environment.

All timber and wood is felled through sustainable forestry and is FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified. Every piece of wood has come from responsible sources under professional forestry management, this includes ensuring that every piece of wood used has been managed in a way that preserves the natural ecosystem and benefits the lives of local people and workers, all while ensuring it sustains economic viability. Taking care of workers

Nordik Living believes in the widely recognised Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI) standard, which helps members to work together to improve the social conditions of workers in recently developed or developing countries.

It means every Nordik Living piece has been made by workers with the following conditions:

* Industry standard wages

* Compliant working hours

* Safe and healthy workplaces
